Let’s skip Monday and go bowling!

Saturday we went apple picking at an orchard near Iowa City. Seems that we should have went a little earlier in the season. There wasn’t much left to pick. Hopefully there will be enough for an apple crisp this week.

Last night the Des Moines Metro Arts Alliance held an informational meeting for performers, musicians, and visual artists. Each speaker had relevant information for all three mediums. I should probably make it my goal to post anything NON-weather/season related for the next couple months.
Several people have sent me photography questions through my website. I have decided to start offering basic photography and lighting (and camera) workshops here in Grinnell. Once I find a good location I will let you know.

I couldn’t resist buying this multicolored corn at the supermarket last week. It is so beautiful. Hard to believe Fall is right around the corner.
