Saturday we went apple picking at an orchard near Iowa City. Seems that we should have went a little earlier in the season. There wasn’t much left to pick. Hopefully there will be enough for an apple crisp this week.

Last night the Des Moines Metro Arts Alliance held an informational meeting for performers, musicians, and visual artists. Each speaker had relevant information for all three mediums. I found this to be so odd. A back seat full of old violins and bags of onions. I tried to hurry and sneak a few pictures before I got caught, but given time I could have taken some cool ones.
