It is pasta week here at Zink Photography! Fortunately it is a family favorite so no one is complaining about all the food I am bringing home from the studio. This dish was Italian sausage, ricotta, and fresh basil rolled up in a noodle and placed on sauce. It was beautiful. I took home all of the ingredients and did the same thing only different.
I emptied the sausage out of its casing and cooked it with the sauce. I then mixed parmigiano-reggiano, romano, mozzarella, garlic powder, oregano and one egg with the ricotta for the filling. The filling was spread out over the noodle and rolled up with the sauce poured on top. I covered loosely with foil and placed in oven for 35 minutes. topped with cheese then baked another 10.
