I apologize for the long silence here at Zink Photography. The last two months have been all about yoga, leaving very little time for photography. Teaching has finally settled into more of a routine and with the cooler weather (I know mild summer) people are beginning to schedule more photo shoots. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

This weekend I was lucky enough to photograph one of my favorite subjects again! His mom asked that we meet at the beach. Imagine my surprise to find out there actually is a beach in Iowa! A very nice one! Kent Park Lake by Iowa City has a beautifuly maintained beach (and campgrounds, I hear). We had a great time getting there early in the morning and plowing through the left over sand castles.
