Living, Dying, and loathing in Grinnell

Thnking about Life and Death

Life is a wonderful, horrible, and an amazingly difficult thing. I’ll add more in the morning. I’m falling asleep here.

ETA Two of my coworkers are fighting cancer right now. They are both so young. I think about them constantly and am reminded that my life is overwhelming but we all healthy. I found out yesterday that the woman down the street was found dead in a field. Her car was found in a ditch and it appeared that she went to get help and froze. I’m so sad for her husband. I honestly don’t know what else to say other than a cheeseball expression like life is so fragile. Don’t waste it away worrying about what is going to happen because you never know and it is out of your control. Do what you can NOW. Tell the people you care about them and how you feel NOW. Experience life NOW. It’s really is truly all you got.

Vicki’s death is so unfortunate. She took classes at the studio. The news has those of us who had her in classes shook up and saddened too. Hugs.
