I worked with the lensbaby tonight. I have the older version, 2.0 I think. The new ones have the ability to fix your focus. It would make shooting still life much easier.

Grinnell has a very small (and very cool) library. We love it. The only problem is that floor in the picture (2nd floor, non-fiction) is glass and a tinsy bit scary.

I had a photo shoot this morning with this lovely child. I took other pictures today but this one was perfect. She is adorable. I had a lot of fun working with her and her Mom.

They can’t all be exciting.

I don’t work much with Photoshop* (obviously). Randy sent me a link to some fun Photoshop tutorials, but I never got around to using them. Until tonight. I tried and tried to get something for my daily picture but nothing was working. I decided to take a not too horrible one and play with it. [...]

More snow last night but at least the sun was out today.
